Sage Hall (1917)
This website is dedicated to the history of the three original dormitories on the campus of Lawrence University, in Appleton,
Wisconsin.
It was created by Edmond Johnson ('03) while an undergraduate at LU, and the information and images reproduced here are the
products
of many happy hours spent examining documents in the Lawrence University Archives.
This page is preserved as a tribute to former University Archivist Carol Butts (1928–2004),
whose encouragement and invaluable guidance will always been remembered and appreciated.
